Partnering and sharing in the work of the ministry is his middle school sweetheart and wife of over 11 years – Jordan Williams. They have two young and beautiful children, Baylee Rae and Marlee Kate. They also have a black lab named Tucker, who loves to chew everything.

Pastor Don Williams came to First Wesleyan Church in July 1995. He has served as Senior Pastor for 23 years and now serves as Co-Pastor with his son, Pastor Caleb. He continues as lead Pastor of the classic service, each Sunday at 11 am. He received a BS degree in Christian Ministries from Southern Wesleyan University and a Master’s degree in Theology from Indiana Wesleyan University. He accepted his call into ministry in 1987 and continues to serve with passion and zeal to reach out for those who are seeking a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Following God’s will for his life and the church is most important to Pastor Don. “The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you.” This is one of his favorite quotes for his ministry. It is his desire to lead the people of First Wesleyan Church and the community in Biblical authority, divine worship, spiritual edification, Christlikeness, and evangelism. Pastor Don is married to his high school sweetheart, Debra Conner of Kings Mountain. They have two children and four grandchildren.
